IPAD AIR2 supports split-screen function, not all iOS9 adds split-screen mode to iPad

appleWWDC was held in San Francisco today, and there were three themes of the conference, namely OS X,iOS9 and the new generation watchOS. In the latestios9 systems, Apple finally brought it to the iPadMulti-screenDisplay and multitasking – Multitasking, as well as QuickType for iPad.

The QuickType function is different from Apple's previous detachable keyboard for the iPad, the keyboard in iOS 9 is designed with a lot of shortcut gestures for the iPad, which can be used to copy and paste text with the swipe of the fingertips, and a new function bar has been added above the keyboard area, including cut, copy, paste, associative statements and other functions.

Multitasking is the most anticipated feature by users, and in iOS 9, we can have the iPad achieve a 5:5 or 7:3 ratio of task interfaces. 5:5 is called SplitView mode and 7:3 is called SlideOver mode. Here is not only dual-screen display, but also supports dual-screen task processing, program switching can be performed in the split screen, and the dual screen can also be operated separately.

Apple has also added picture-in-picture functionality to video playback, which is where Multitasking surprised us. Since Multitasking will take up a lot of system resources, only iPad Air2 supports three functions: SplitView, SlideOver and picture-in-picture, iPad Air,iPad mini2 and iPad mini3 only support SlideOver and picture-in-picture functions. The new iOS 9 will be available for beta download in July and the official version in the fall.
