The Beijing Cybersecurity Anti-Fraud Alliance released a report on online fraud crimes

China Economic Net, Beijing, April 28 On the morning of April 28, the Beijing Cyber Security Anti-Fraud Alliance released the "Research Report on Online Fraud Crime Data in the First Quarter of 2015". Relevant leaders of the Cyber Security Corps of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau and the 360 Internet Security Center attended the press conference.

During the first "429 Capital Cyber Security Day" in 2014, the Cyber Security Corps of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau and 360 jointly launched the "Beijing Cyber Security Anti-Fraud Alliance" to further prevent and combat the increasingly rampant telecom fraud and online fraud criminal activities. Since its establishment, the alliance has successively added 32 alliance units, including the Ministry of Commerce, the Payment Security Alliance (China UnionPay), Taobao, the People's Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Stubborn Stone Consulting and Ebay. Over the past year, all alliance units have promptly connected the suspected fraudulent websites found in their respective fields to the alliance database, and at present, the number of malicious websites and phishing websites in the database has reached more than 600. At the same time, the 360 Internet Security Center relies on the database to prompt netizens and block websites as soon as they may access malicious websites and phishing websites. According to the 360 Internet Security Center, in the past year, the Anti-Fraud Alliance has intercepted a total of 40.6 billion malicious websites and phishing websites, and included more than 178,000 websites that have been reported as suspected of fraud. According to the statistics of the 360 Internet Security Center, the number of users reporting fraud to the 360 Internet Security Center has decreased by 90% year-on-year, and the number of new malicious websites has decreased by 45%, and the prevention of online fraud has achieved significant results.

The "Research Report on Online Fraud Crime Data in the First Quarter of 2015" released by the Anti-Fraud Alliance today is a report that uses big data technology to systematically analyze the situation of online fraud crimes, intuitively presents the current situation and future trends of online fraud crimes in our country, deeply analyzes the laws and characteristics behind the frequent occurrence of online fraud cases, and provides support for the police, enterprises and the public to work together to prevent and combat online fraud cases. In the future, the Anti-Fraud Alliance will release the "Online Fraud Crime Data Research Report" every quarter to help enhance the awareness of all sectors of society on the network security situation, improve netizens' ability to discern online fraud, reduce the incidence of online fraud, and promote the orderly and healthy development of online society.
