After searching for information on the Internet, I decided to start with router modification.
The transformation idea is to transform the router, but in fact, it does not perform much surgery on the router, but only replaces the firmware. Ruijie has many solutions under Linux, including a mature client like Mentohust, and in view of the fact that the router is a micro Linux system, the transformation idea is to first brush the router into an open Linux system, such as DD-WRT, or OpenWRT, etc., and then run the compiled Ruijie client on the router and achieve login. Hardware preparation Hardware preparation is to prepare a router, the choice of router is also exquisite, you have to make sure that your router can brush the latest version of open firmware, such as OpenWRT or DD-WRT, the support list is written on their official website, I chose DD-WRT, and the router purchased TP-Link's WRN841 V7.

TP-Link version attention In view of the particularity of the TP-Link router itself, and the relatively small ROM, this means that it is impossible to install the Mentohust client in the ROM independently, if you are also using TP-Link for transformation like me, you can directly download the firmware that has integrated Mentohust, the download address is as follows:http://code.google.com/p/mentohust-wrt/The way to start the transformation is different for different versions of open firmware, DD-WRT is the main one here. First of all, there are two files for DD-WRT firmware download, one is the upgrade package after brushing DD-WRT, and the other is the upgrade package of DD-WRT with the original firmware.
The way to download the upgraded firmware flashing is as you think, select the firmware upgrade in the original router interface, and then select the upgrade file to confirm.

Telnet login to download the Mentohust MIPS version, and then you can set up an FTP or HTTP server on your computer, put the files in the root directory of the server, and ensure that the router can access it remotely. After logging in, use the wget command to get the Mentohust MIPS version, of course, if you are brushing the TP-Link Mentohust integrated version, then there is no need for this. Run the Mentohust command to see if it works. Then you can dial directly, make sure three points before dialing:
The dialing method needs to be noted, you need to enter the username and password under the command line, as well as your network port, the command format mentohust documentation is also described in detail, generally speaking we only need to use the following command: mentohust -u username -p password -neth0 after running to see if the dialing is successful, if it fails, there will be a Chinese prompt why you failed, if you run it to get a result containing the word "HeartBeat", it is a success. Auto-dialing: As mentioned earlier, TP-Link does not have ROM space to save data, and does not directly record a mentohust.conf file like other router open system solutions, and then run mentohust next time, so you still need to run the long line of commands above every time, which is not a problem, because DD-WRT has a scheduled task command system. Post-maintenance: Although this has been set up, sometimes there will still be problems with abnormal dialing, so how to maintain it is also a little to say. First: You need to go to "Commands" to clear the original command, clear the text box, and then save it as a firewall command to overwrite it. Then: Restart your router and log in remotely using the Telnet command. Run the Mentohust command dialing under the command line to see why the error occurred and resolve it. Summary: Basically, the way to log in to Ruijie dialing with a router to achieve network sharing is like this, but from now on, some people have begun to develop a more user-friendly DD-WRT modification, such as setting up the interface of Ruijie dialing through the network, etc., I believe that in the near future, it will be more convenient to dial Ruijie with a router.
