O Android Debug Bridge (adb) é uma ferramenta universal de linha de comando que permite que você se comunique com uma instância emuladora ou com um dispositivo Android conectado. Ele facilita uma variedade de operações de dispositivos, como instalação e depuração de aplicações, e fornece acesso ao shell Unix, que pode ser usado para executar vários comandos em emuladores ou dispositivos conectados. A ferramenta funciona como um programa cliente-servidor e inclui três componentes:
cliente, o componente envia comandos. O cliente está rodando na máquina de desenvolvimento. Você pode invocar o cliente a partir do terminal da linha de comando emitindo um comando adb.
