Recently, I often need hosts editing, and found that I have turned around various editors on the Internet, either the functions are complex enough, or the appearance is poor, or it is not updated, the original favorite is HostsX, but unfortunately it is basically unavailable if it is not updated for too long, and there are too many functions, write one yourself, and it won't, so I made a simple one, in fact, it is to remove the read-only and system attributes of the hosts file first, and then call Notepad to open, and restore the read-only and system attributes after exiting.
The software is written in NSIS, 40.03K in size, and the script is released, which is very simple.
