Previously, I introduced a free and open source cross-platform download software based on aria2 that can replace Xunlei and Baidu Cloud Disk with unlimited speed and no ads, and today I will also introduce you to an open source free and an all-round download software Motrix with a very clean and simple interface based on aria2.
This software also supports Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, and can support downloading HTTP, FTP, BT, Magnet links, and downloading Baidu Netdisk and other resources.
The "Baidu Netdisk Assistant" provided by Motrix is also a Chrome browser extension, which allows you to download Baidu Netdisk resources directly through Motrix at high speed.
Baidu Netdisk Extension Installation Method:
1. After downloading the Baidu Netdisk plug-in "BaiduExporter.zip", unzip it to any directory such as ~/Documents/BaiduExporter for backup.
2. Start Google Chrome and enter the extension management page from the menu. Or enter chrome://extensions/ on the address bar to enter. 3. Click the "Developer Mode" switch in the upper right corner to enable developer mode.
4. Click "Load Unzipped Extension", the directory selection box pops up, and select the ~/Documents/BaiduExporter directory that was unzipped earlier.
5. After confirmation, a desktop notification will pop up in the Chrome browser to tell you that the installation is successful.
6. Open the web version of Baidu Netdisk, if the page pops up "Initialization successful! And a "MO.app" button will appear on the interface of your Baidu Netdisk web version, indicating that the browser extension has been successfully installed.
