"Treatise on the General Disease of Typhoid Fever" was written by the Song Dynasty physician Pang Anshi. The book consists of six volumes, mainly including typhoid fever and warm diseases: Volume 1 describes the division of the Six Classics; Volume 2 talks about sweating, vomiting, purging, warmth, moxibustion and other treatment methods; Volume 3 discusses some miscellaneous diseases related to typhoid fever; Volumes 4 and 5 list summer diseases, cold epidemics, warm diseases, etc.; Volume 6 contains typhoid fever and pregnancy prescriptions. Attached are typhoid fever theory and teachings, revision of medicine methods, notes, etc. This book is roughly the third year of Qing Daoguang's Huang Pi Martyr Liju Ying Song edition.
The "Treatise on Typhoid Fever" was written in the third year of Song Xianping (1000 AD), which was the crystallization of Pang Anshi's years of devoted research to the "Treatise on Typhoid Fever". Pang Anshi is a representative of the typhoid fever school and has played a lot of academic views on the "Treatise on Typhoid Fever". The book focuses on the etiology and onset of the disease, advocates the theory of cold poison and strange qi, and puts forward the method of dividing and treating typhoid fever and warm diseases.
