"Central Daily" Founded: February 1, 1928 Discontinued date: June 1, 2006 (reissued as an online newspaper on September 13, 2006) In 1932, he changed to the president system and was directly responsible for the Propaganda Department of the Kuomintang Central Committee, with Cheng Cangbo, the first president. On September 1, 1938, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression broke out, and a year later, he moved to Chongqing with the Kuomintang government for publication. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, the Kuomintang Central Propaganda Department sent people to take over the Nanjing Japanese puppet "Interim Daily", "Central Daily", etc., and rebuilt Nanjing's "Central Daily" on the old site, which was published on September 10 of the same year, with Ma Xingye as the president. Chongqing's "Central Daily" was published under the direct control of the Propaganda Department of the Kuomintang Central Committee. In 1947, the newspaper established Central Daily Co., Ltd. and its board of directors. In 1949, it moved to Taiwan and was renewed in Taipei on March 12. The online version was launched on July 1, 1997. In April 1999, the "Central Victory News" was launched, focusing on cultural and educational news. On June 1, 2006, the publication was suspended and replaced with an electronic newspaper. The Chinese Kuomintang think tank is the National Policy Research Foundation.
