"Preparing for the Sea Map" is a coastal military map compiled by Hu Zongxian in the Ming Dynasty when he was the governor of Zhejiang and Zhili, and hired Zheng Ruozeng and others to collect relevant information on coastal defense. The "Preparing for the Sea Map" summarizes the experience of coastal defense since the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, which has guiding significance for the subsequent War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and provides reference for future generations to plan coastal defense. It is an important document for the study of the Ming Dynasty's War of Resistance against Japan. The book discusses coastal defense and Japan, which is mostly heard and witnessed by the author, and is more detailed and credible.
