[Source] IntelliJ idea smart hint ignores case settings

The Idea 2018 version is set as follows: Open the Setting interface, in Editor - General - Code Completion, the default match case is checked Just remove this tick. The following versions of Idea 2018 are set as follows: (1) After opening the idea, press Ctrl + Alt + S to open the settings interface, as shown in the figure below: (2) Search for code completion in the search bar, and the interface on the right side of the image above will appear (3) On the right side of the picture above, you will see case sensitive completion, you just need to select the back as none. (4) Click OK, then you write code in the idea, enter s, whether it starts with uppercase S or lowercase s, it will be displayed, you can choose.
