The solution to this problem is simple

  • Right-click on the Vs 2017 icon on the desktop
  • Click Properties
  • In the shortcut bar, click Open where the file is located
  • I saw that there was a column in the file directory that was 2017, which was the version number of my VS
  • The parent directory for 2017 is Microsoft Visual Studio. Click on this directory Microsoft Visual Studio directory (to enter this directory)
  • I found a folder called Installer, click to enter
  • Click vs_installer.exe file.
