I am currently studying UWP, and there is a reason why I am optimistic about UWP.
1. The win10 system you use, it is inevitable that you will install some software in the Microsoft Store, to be honest, it is really good to use.
Although the recent versions of win10 have improved Edge and some of the plugins in it, it is Microsoft
I can't do without translation and the OneNote plugin.
2. It is only a matter of time before the users of win7, win8, and win8.1 go to win10 in the future, remember that win10 will be released in China in the second half of 2015
It's been almost three years now. If you use Csharp to develop desktop applications running on win10, continue to use winform or wpf
The good and the bad have to be weighed by yourself.
