Part 1: Download the installation file offline
The description here includes all versions, and the screenshot is based on downloading the VS2017 community version as an example:
(1) Log in to the VS official website download page, select the version you need, and click Download. Address:The hyperlink login is visible.
(2) After the download is completed, open the folder where the download file is located, and Windows 8.1 and above users click File on Explorer - Open Command Prompt - Open Command Prompt as administrator; Windows 7 users can right-click and select "Open Command Window Here" while holding down the Shift key in an empty space in the folder.
(3) According to the VS2017 version you downloaded, enter the corresponding command below in the command prompt window that opens and click enter, and wait for the program to start downloading (the following command is used to download the full version of the offline package, including full-function and full-language packages, of which the red part is the storage path of the download file, users can change it according to their own situation)
Enterprise Edition:
vs_enterprise.exe --layout c:\vs2017offline
Pro:
vs_professional.exe --layout c:\vs2017offline
Community Edition:
vs_community.exe --layout c:\vs2017offline
Download and install the installation packages of Visual Studio 2017 offline
If you need to download offline files in a single language or in several of these languages, you can use the following command:
Enterprise Edition:vs_enterprise.exe --layout c:\vs2017offline --lang zh-CN
Pro :vs_professional.exe --layout c:\vs2017offline --lang en-CN
Community version :vs_community.exe --layout c:\vs2017offline --lang en-CN
The red code is the language parameter, and here are the parameters in three languages for you to choose from
English (US): en-US
Chinese: zh-CN (Simplified), zh-TW (Traditional)
Japanese: ja-JP
If you need to download multiple languages at the same time, you can add multiple language code parameters after --lang, spaced apart, for example, -lang en-US zh-CN en-JP, then English, Chinese, and Japanese language packs will be downloaded at the same time.
(4) For more language packs or more installation instructions, please refer to the official offline installation command guide here.The hyperlink login is visible.
(5) Wait for the file to download, do not close the file download window, wait for all the files to be downloaded and the window will be automatically closed, do not cut off the power and network during the download process, do not close the window, of course, if the power is cut off or the download window is closed, it doesn't matter, enter the command to start over, or continue to download.
Summary:
The Chinese Enterprise Edition should be 22,233,042,097 bytes, 1,978 files, and 836 folders
The Chinese and English Enterprise edition should be 22,604,487,642 bytes, 3,649 files, 1,254 folders
