As memory chips continue to be in short supply, the prices of memory and SSDs have been climbing.
The latest survey from the Japanese media shows that the price of DDR4-2400 memory, which is the most in-demand, has soared to twice as much as in the same period last year.
As of March 25, the lowest price of DDR4-2400 16GB*2 package memory in Akihabara, Japan is 25,704 yen (about 1,600 yuan), and basically most stores offer between 28,000-29,000 yen, which is equivalent to twice as much as last summer.
The price of DDR4-2400 4GB*2 package memory also created the highest increase in the past month, with an average price of 7,234 yen (about 450 yuan), an increase of 950 yen or 15% over the previous statistical period.
Considering that the price of SSDs is also rising, if you want to install it now, you will have to face higher financial pressure. |
