With OpenVPN, you can access external network resources anywhere on the campus network without the need for Ruijie or an account
OpenVPN requires a server-side.
Before you begin, find out if you have a separate external server with an external IP or not
Any computer on the campus network, such as a classmate's computer, a teacher's computer, or a school server (this seems a bit evil!) ), provided it can be on
If you don't turn off the machine, that's better!
If not, please don't continue!!
Server-side configuration:
a) Please click OpenVPN_2.2.exe to install first, please install to C drive by default, after the installation is completed, there will be an additional virtual network card, for subsequent processing, the server should set the default local connection network to share.
b) Next, you must run the configuration wizard as an administrator.bat this batch and follow the steps, each step will be prompted until it is finished, build the server, and the client
key and certificate file. This step is done on the server side.
c) After the file is configured, please copy it under C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\easy-rsa\keys
Go to C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config directory, and copy the server.ovpn in the compressed file to the config directory!
d) Next, run the shortcut OpenVPN GUI on your desktop to connect! Note that the server sets the default local connection network to shared
After the connection is successful, the virtual network card will indicate that you are connected, and the IP address has been obtained, and the OpenVPN GUI icon in the lower right corner will turn green!
At this point, the server-side configuration is complete.
