2015 Wuhan Software Engineering Vocational College Freshman Admission Instructions
Dear students,
Congratulations on being accepted into Wuhan Software Engineering Vocational College! In order to facilitate your smooth admission procedures, please make all preparations before admission according to the following requirements.
1. Registration time
September 10 to September 11, 2015.
2. Registration location
In Wuhan Software Engineering Vocational College, No. 117 Optics Valley Avenue, East Lake New Technology Development Zone, Wuhan City, Hubei Province.
During the specified registration time, our school has freshman reception stations at Wuchang Railway Station, Hankou Railway Station (Jinjiadun Long-distance Bus Station), Wuhan Railway Station, Wuchang Fujiapo Long-distance Bus Station, and Luxiang Square to provide services for you.
You can also take the following buses to report to the school:
Wuchang direction: 15, 18, 25, 59, 510, 518, 521, 538, 593, 702, 709
Hankou direction: 536, 583, 703
Hanyang direction: 728
Tianhe Airport: Take the airport bus to Hankou Railway Station and transfer to 536
You can also take the subway to "Optics Valley Square Station"
The above trains transfer on the following lines
1. Turn 758 at the intersection of the Minyuan next to Optics Valley Square and get off at the school gate;
2. Transfer to 718 at Optics Valley Square or Guanshankou and get off at the school gate.
3. Documents are required
1. Admission notice for new students.
2. My ID card.
3. 12 recent one-inch registration photos of individuals without hats (blue background).
4. Certificate of transfer of party (league) organizational relationship.
5. Personal high school paper files (high school files can be obtained from the local recruitment office or graduation high school with our school's admission notice).
6. In order to facilitate the health management of students, new students and parents must sign the "Student Commitment Letter of No Critical Illness" and register with the Stock Exchange to study in the college.
7. If a freshman moves his household registration to our school, the name, year, month and day of birth on the household registration transfer certificate must be exactly the same as the file records when registering for the college entrance examination. Whether to move in the household registration is up to the students to decide.
8. If you apply for a credit student loan from the place of origin, go to the student financial aid management center of the place of origin to go through the loan procedures with the admission notice of the freshman and the family's financial difficulties, and bring the signed loan contract and other materials to the school.
4. Payment of fees
New students are required to pay tuition fees and other fees for the current academic year when completing the admission procedures:
1. Tuition fee: 6,500 yuan/year for art majors and 5,000 yuan/year for other majors.
2. Accommodation fee: 1200 yuan/year for a 4-person room in a student apartment, 1000 yuan/year for a room for 5 or 6 people, and 800 yuan/year for a small number of 7-person rooms (all have built-in toilets and washrooms).
3. Book copying fee: 700 yuan/student for each art major, 600 yuan/student for other majors (collection and payment).
4. National vocational qualification training and appraisal fee: 400 yuan/student (collection and payment).
5. Physical examination fee: 35 yuan/student.
6. Medical insurance premium for college students: 180 yuan/student (60 yuan per year, three years).
7. Health and safety insurance premium: 150 yuan/student (50 yuan per year, three years, voluntary purchase).
8. Military training dress supplies: 103 yuan/student (dress supplies include military uniforms, military shoes, camouflage crewneck shirts, portable square stools, plastic water cups, etc.).
9. In order to reduce the burden of carrying more luggage when freshmen register, the school has prepared a full set of daily necessities for freshmen in accordance with the requirements of the national quality standard (E Quality Supervision and Supervision [2008] No. 55): (1) cotton quilt cover, (2) mosquito net, (3) bed sheet, (4) pillow core, (5) towel, (6) plastic cloth bag, (7) cushion cover, (8) pillowcase, (9) plastic bucket, (10) washbasin, (11) hot water bottle, (12) mat, etc. The above supplies can be sold in pieces and purchased voluntarily.
In order to avoid the risk of carrying a large amount of cash, our school will mail a Bank of China "Great Wall Debit Card" with the same name as the admission letter with the instructions for sending the card. If you do not use the card, please keep it safe. After entering the school, the award and bursary will be credited to this card. If this card is not mailed with the admission notice, freshmen can bring a bank card with the "UnionPay" logo to pay the fee.
5. Precautions
1. Before registering, freshmen should log in to the admissions website of the Department of Education of the province to verify the authenticity of the admission notice. Or log in to our school website to verify, beware of being deceived.
2. If you cannot report as scheduled due to special reasons, please be sure to contact the Admissions and Employment Guidance Office of our school in advance to go through the relevant leave procedures. The maximum time of leave shall not exceed 6 days, otherwise, it will be deemed to be an automatic waiver of admission qualifications.
3. Freshmen are responsible for their own accommodation, travel expenses, and luggage check-in fees during their time at school. You can buy a half-price train ticket to go to school with the admission notice, and the baggage check-in form should indicate the name of the school and major.
4. If freshmen need to retain their student status when they apply for enlistment, please go through the relevant procedures before September 10.
5. The weather is hot and the road is far away, please take good care of your luggage and belongings during the journey, beware of being deceived, and pay attention to personal safety.
6. Through bidding, China Unicom will provide all freshmen with a free 4G mobile phone card (including 30 yuan phone bill), and the mobile phone card will be used as an important way for the school to send information about study, life and other information to students.
