Sometimes we need to save screenshots of web pages, but the more troublesome thing is that some web pages are not only the size of one screen, but need to be scrolled to display all the web content. If you use the traditional screenshot method, you have to scroll through the screenshot one by one, and then merge the cropping of the screenshotted picture together, which is very troublesome. The following recommended web page screenshot methods completely avoid this trouble. Everyone should choose according to the actual situation they encounter. Scroll to save the screenshot in its entirety In fact, if you want to take a screenshot, you can do it through many software such as QQ. However, the screenshot function of these software is relatively simple, and it cannot complete complex operations such as complete screenshots of the page, so you still need to use professional screenshot software at this time. Take FastStone Capture as an example, after running, click the seventh button in the toolbar, that is, the "Capture Scrolling Window" command. Then move the mouse to the top of the browser, when the edge of the browser shows a red border, click the left mouse button to take a screenshot. After the screenshot operation is completed, an editing window will be displayed, and you can edit the image with relevant commands. If you don't want to edit just a screenshot, you can click the "Save As" button in the toolbar to save it (Figure 1). It should be noted here that the web page must stay at the top before taking a screenshot, otherwise the screenshot software will not be able to scroll down, so that the captured image is only the current content of the web page.
Cloud screenshots are easy and convenient Of course, some users only need to take screenshots occasionally, and it is more troublesome to install a professional screenshot software for this purpose, at this time we can use the cloud to operate. First, open the "URL to Image" website (URL: http://urltoimage.ymtyo.com/) in your browser and enter the link address of the web page you want to screenshot in the "Enter a URL" of the web page. Then click the "Convert" button at the back, and the webpage will display a "In progress, please later" prompt. Wait for a while, when the web prompt disappears, click the "Document Download" button to save the captured image to your local hard drive (Figure 2). However, this method also has a flaw, that is, because many websites need to log in before they can be browsed, and using this method to capture will only display the login page content of the web page.
Leverage extensions to solve problems If you are not satisfied with the previous two methods, you can also try the browser's functional extensions. These extensions greatly extend the functionality of the browser, including taking screenshots of web pages. If you are using Google Chrome, first enter the "Chrome Web Store", search for a function extension called "Silhouette Screenshot", and you will see the extension's icon in the toolbar after the installation is completed. In the future, when you need to take a screenshot of a web page, you only need to click on this extension icon, and then select the "Screenshot the entire page" command in the pop-up menu. After a while, the browser will open a new tab, and you can preview the screenshot effect in the right window. If you are satisfied with the result, click the "Save" button in the list on the left to save the image as a PDF file (Figure 3). Finally, convert the PDF file into any image format you need, and complete the corresponding screenshot operation.
