Recently, it seems that a file is missing in Windows 7, and coincidentally, one of the restore points contains the file, so I want to restore the file. However, if you restore the system restore point directly, even if you can get your files back, all the installed applications will be lost.
With the help of the professional tool System Restore Explorer, you can directly retrieve a file from the system restore point without restoring the restore point. The tool is suitable for almost all Windows system platforms, after starting and running the tool, it will automatically scan the restore points in the Windows 7 system, and it won't take long for us to find all the restore points in the system in the pop-up scan result interface.
Then select the restore point where the files to be recovered are located from the scan result interface, and press the "Mount" button in the program interface to open the specified restore point. At this point, the file for the target restore point will automatically appear in the new Explorer window that pops up.
After that, the operation is the same as usual, select the folder where the file is located from the left display area, right-click the mouse on the file from the right display area, execute the "Copy" command in the right-click menu, then paste the file to the original location, and finally press the "Unmount" button to close the restore point.
