Question 1.I forgot my login password for SA to log in to Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Workaround:First log in with Windows authentication, then right-click on 'SA' - 'Properties' in 'Security' - 'Login' - Change the password (the password of SA should not be too simple, it is best to have numbers, letters, underscored characters, and the length should be greater than 10 characters); click OK.

Question 2.The connection to the server has been successfully established, but the wrong retrieval occurred during the login process. (provider: shared memory provider, error: 0 - no process on the other end of the pipeline.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 233)

Workaround:Open 'Programs' - 'All Programs' --'Microsoft SQL Server 2005' --'Configuration Tool'-'SQL Server Configuration Manager', find 'SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration' in the pop-up form, start 'Named Pipes' and 'TCP/IP' under 'MSSQLSERVER Protocol', and then restart Microsoft SQL Server 2005 will be fine.

The error occurs because SQL Server uses a "Windows only" authentication method, so users cannot connect using a SQL Server login account (e.g. sa), and the solution is as follows

Set up allowing SQL Server identity login (basically this is useful)

Steps:

1。 In Enterprise Manager, expand SQL Server Groups and right-click the name of the SQL Server server

2。 Select Properties

3。 Then select the Security tab

4。 Under Authentication, select SQL Server and Windows

5。 OK and restart the SQL Server service

Workaround:

Changing Server Authentication from Windows Authentication Mode

Change to Sql Server and Windows Authentication mode, OK.

Open security -- logins, right-click on sa, select properties, click Status to switch to the status panel, and set Login to Enabled.

Remember: SQL2005 service must be restarted for it to take effect.
