Requirements: Use Windows 11 Remote Desktop to connect to another Windows 11 machine, the initial connection of Remote Desktop uses TCP by default, and after the connection is established, Remote Desktop will attempt to establish a UDP-based "short path" connection to provide better connection stability and lower latency. If the UDP connection is successful, the TCP connection is broken and subsequent data transmission is made over UDP; If the UDP connection fails, it falls back to the TCP connection.
According to a discussion post on Microsoft's official forum, the current remote desktop abnormal issue in Windows 11 22H2 may affect users' normal connections. And for now, Microsoft has known about the existence of this problem for a long time and has not mentioned it publicly, and Microsoft employees said that the team began investigating a week ago.
