Requirements: I bought a soft routing machine, it has been running normally for more than a year, and it cannot start normally after restarting, it seems that the mSATA hard drive is broken, and I happen to have a USB flash drive in my hand, and I want to write the OpenWrt image directly to the USB flash drive, and the soft route is started and run directly through the USB flash drive.
Review:
First, prepare a USB flash drive, as shown below:
Download the "Roadkils DiskImage" tool at the following address:The hyperlink login is visible.
Download the "openwrt-x86-64-generic-squashfs-combined-efi.zip" firmware at the address:The hyperlink login is visible.
Write "openwrt-x86-64-generic-squashfs-combined-efi.img" to a USB stick as shown below:
After the write is completed, the USB flash drive is stored as shown in the figure below:
Unplug the USB flash drive and prepare to plug it into the soft-routed USB interface, as shown in the figure below:
Soft route power on press F11 (In fact, it is okay not to press it, the machine will automatically detect the storage and startSelect the boot disk and select General Udisk 5.00, as shown in the following image:
Press Enter to enter the console terminal, as shown in the figure below:
Plug the network cable into the LAN port 1 and connect to the computer (If the LAN 1 port light does not turn on, please try entering ifconfig, I am not sure why the problem is not clear), as shown below:
Try typing on your computerhttp://192.168.5.1/, successfully accessing the openwrt system, as shown below:
Then configure the LAN port and check the other physical interfaces, as shown in the figure below:
